Two things I missed when they were in their prime.
Thing #1: Dr. Katz, back when it was on Comedy Central. I didn't get it ... I thought it was just crappy animation and comedians' standup routines performed in front of a therapist who simply says, "uh huh" and "hhmmm... OK." Turns out that's EXACTLY what Dr. Katz was, only now I find it hilarious for some reason.
Thing #2: The comedy stylings of Mitch Hedberg. This guy was hilarious, and I never even heard of him until after he was dead. That's sad, but thanks to the internet, he has achieved immortality.
Enjoy!

I remember the David Duchovny episode of Dr. Katz being pretty funny.
I think that I was pretty much like you. I think that when I would watch it as a younger Ryan I didn't really get it, but now that I have had sometime to understand why Dr. Katz is funny it is a whole lot better. On to topic number 2. Errol's mystery woman. I dont think that she was married either, I think that she was just intimitated by Errol's machismo! But thats just my theory.
Ryan
Hmmm... Perhaps Errol emitted pheromones so intense that in just a few seconds of exposure, his mystery woman experienced--solely in her head--the joys of reciprocated love, tender midnight caresses, procreation and childbirth, aging together, and then dying in each other's arms. By the time our drunken friend actually stammered out his "do you wanna dansh" line, she had experienced a lifetime and was already bored and subsequently finished with him.
In essence, I fear Errol was done in by his sheer godlike potency and raw manliness. I can relate all too well, because the same thing happens to me all the time when I try to hit on women.
I do have some righteous machismo.
I just learned a couple of months ago about Mitch's death. I guess it had something to do with a velcro wallit?
Greets to the webmaster of this wonderful site. Keep working. Thank you.
